The card - It's a Trap-- did not get played. It also disappeared from my hand but did not go to the discard pile. When I refreshed the game the card was in my hand. Tried to continue game but the card stayed in my hand but was not switched with "trade hands" and could not be discarded to allow me to meet the 'hand limit". 案件沿革
I see Steal a Keeper played around move #37, so I suppose that is where you tried to play It’s a Trap?
But the game log doesn’t show anything about that, it just looks like you retained it and allowed the Steal a Keeper to continue.
Also the game wasn’t really blocked, as you both played multiple turns after this?
I do see the strang behavior with the Trade Hands, where It’s a Trap just also remains in your hand.
Do you have any more information about the exact error message(s) you received?
Did you only see the errors, or your opponent also?
By any chance did you take screenshots of the situation before and after F5 refresh (always a good idea for strange bugs)?
What was the game state after the refresh, was the Surprise queue still active or did the game just continue as if you retained the It’s a Trap and didn’t use it at all?
I will leave this open for now, but unless this happens more often or we can get more useful information to investigate, it will probably just be considered a strange glitch indeed.
When I clicked on "It's a trap" I got the error message. The card (It's a trap) did not activate and the game continued as if it was not played, however the card did not show in my hand. It did show up when I refreshed.
Then the card (it's a trap) did not leave my hand when Trade Hands was played, and when I later had to discard to meet the hand limit I could not discard the card, or discard the others and just keep it, so the game was stuck at that point.
Definitely the strangest glitch I've seen lately! That's all I can say to help.
When Exchange Keepers was used against my The Captain, the game did not pause to give me a chance to use It's a Trap! It did pause a moment later when The Captain was used to steal The Engineer from me (but there were enough other surprises to ensure that would not have mattered in the end).
Your bug has probably been fixed already, or was linked to a temporary failure of BGA service.
In any case, when filling a bug report, make sure to have an explicit title linked to the incident (ex: with error message), so other players can recognize it and vote for it.
