案件沿革
503 errors means "service unavailable", which usually means there is a server problem.
I can't find any error on the server side at all. I tried to reproduce it on my phone (android, not iphone) and I got the error a single time, randomly.
It sounds like those are temporary errors due to network issues, which are just impossible to fix on my side (the network is required to save the zoom level as a preference).

I have tried this on multiple networks (I have been traveling this weekend, so it's a mixture of cellular and wifi), and the behavior has been relatively consistent to reproduce regardless of that. I don't know enough about zoom behavior as to why it might trigger more often on iPhone, but the sheer number of errors is why I bring it up. The zoom level does appear to get saved.
Anyways, it doesn't break the game, so this is just extra information if you want it.
OK, I'll have to think about a way to at least reduce the number of errors.
Maybe I could save the zoom level only every 15 seconds - in that way, it wouldn't flood you with errors if you have a temporary issue.
I'll need to find some time to build & then test it, but I think that's the easiest option.

This issue should be fixed - the preference is now only valid at the start of the game, and not updated every time you zoom/dezoom.
