規則摘要
Overview
Players take turns building their cities, taking tiles and pieces from a central board. Players build their 3x3 city, place features and buildings within, and take scoring goals that serve them best. The player with the most points after eight rounds (4 in a two-player game) wins.
- Adjacent means orthogonal not diagonal
- Area means a group of orthogonally connected spaces
- All number requirements are a minimum, not exact (unless stated)
- A special feature tile (wild tile) counts as an empty city space of any color for achievements
- Achievement rings are not removed if, later in the game, your city no longer meets its requirements
Each game starts with a randomly chosen city with three objectives. The first person to achieve one of these objectives has their achievement ring placed on the highest vacant space. These score points at the end of the game. A player may only have one achievement ring per objective.
Game Board
Scoring Card Row
A player may take a scoring card from this row. This becomes a personal goal that will score them points depending on how their city is laid out at the end of the game.
City Tile Row
These tiles build up the city. Each tile contains three types of spaces: a colored square (which indicates what building pieces can be placed), blue water, and green park.
Feature Tile Row
These tiles can be placed on their corresponding city space, as long as it doesn't have a building piece on it. Only 1 feature per space. If a piece cannot be placed, it must be discarded.
Building Pieces Row
These pieces are used to build buildings. A building can be four pieces high at maximum and can only be built on a space matching its color.
Scoring
1. Achievements
Players earn points for any achievement rings on the city's board under its objectives.
2. Water and Park Spaces
For each isolated water and park space, score 1 point for one feature, 3 points for two, 6 points for three, and 10 points for four. Each feature must be different to score.
3. Monuments
Score 2 points for each monument (as shown on the tile).
4. Scoring Cards
Each scoring card indicates the requirements to score points. The same configurations may be used in multiple scoring cards.
