This is already did auto when the car is outside the track (00 or in pit).
So why is not when a car can't move any space and the player just need to push the 'skip my turn' button.
In a turn based game, it really delay the game...

You ask that the turn of a player whose car is blocked be passed automatically., but you have not referenced a gaming situation in relation to your suggestion.
In such a game situation, the player whose turn is skipped would wonder why he could not play during X previous turns, a blocking situation that can repeat itself for several consecutive turns.
However, currently, the replay function during game does not allow for a proper review of previous game situations, the only way to understand a blocking situation in a racing game where the positions change constantly.
Given the impairment of the replay, passing the turn to a player in these circumstances would seriously affect the pleasure of playing, this for a small win over the duration of the game.
I think it would be quite inappropriate to adopt provisions that would lead to more abandonment of parties.
In such a game situation, the player whose turn is skipped would wonder why he could not play during X previous turns, a blocking situation that can repeat itself for several consecutive turns.

I think he meant: in turn-based games, when a player can't do anything but skip his turn (for example because he's stuck) it would be nice if this happened automatically.
Until that player logs in and enters the game just to click "skip the turn" (when that's the only thing he can do) the game gets stuck.
Obviously with a warning to the player when he connects like "XXX You missed the turn because it was the only move possible".
It seems to me a good idea, if feasible, and it would speed up the game instead of prolonging it unnecessarily.

@agodd: A warning is not enough, as soon as the blocked player no longer has the opportunity to examine the game situation at the time of the blocking of his car.

@diamant would the warning be good enough if it could include a link to review the game situation on their last turn so they could understand how it happened?

I agree that it would be very confusing (and discouraging) to be in a game, or return to a turn-based game, and not know why one’s turn was skipped. In my opinion the module doesn’t provide enough information when a car can’t move. Yellow flags and speed limits have been very frustrating for new players in tables I’ve been a part of.
If this were adopted, I would hope some very visible notification would be given to the player.

it's simple - if you stay on low gear - expect you would be blocked.

Well, it is not that simple. If you are gear 1 or 0 on an empty space you can have a pit stop.

Retract: yeah you can go to pit stop, but only in gear 1 AND that's after skipping.

My group has played this game quite a bit now and we all agree with this suggestion. It is quite annoying to be notified that it's your turn only to find when you connect that your only option is to skip your turn. It's also annoying to the other players to have to wait for someone to hit skip when there is no other action possible.

I suggest implementing a checkbox like in other games (e.g. The Crew). If set, automatically skip lost turns. Otherwise (and by default) have the player manually skip the turn.

I would strongly advocate for some type of "auto skip" option if "skip turn" is the only choice available to the player.

I'd also support an auto skip function. If necessary it could be a toggle with default set to skip when no moves available, but allow players to switch if they really want to be able to analyse the situation if it happens

I agree with the previous three commenters that a toggle would be a great idea. I would probably err on the side of having it default deactivated, so that players have to make the choice to activate auto-skip.

I also agree with the skip option (which has been implemented in other games, like the King of Tokyo, option to exit Tokyo when life is < x.
