Infi220To win the game game, we must solve *9 riddles* by manipulating "civilization" *tiles* in a *5x5 grid* so that they match the required patterns shown on the *riddle cards*. We have only 12 turns for this. Each turn is divided into 2 parts: • *Action Phase* • *Sfynx Phase* We will go over them soon.3maintitlebar_content

Infi220These are [blue]*riddle cards*[/blue]. Each of them shows the exact symbols they require.4riddle_revealed_item_10

Infi220For example, solving the [blue]*middle riddle*[/blue] requires [red]*these three tiles*[/red]. We need to align them in the correct order from *left to right* OR *top to bottom*. In fact, this one looks quite easy. Let's try solving it!7undoredo_wrap

Infi220On our turn, we *must* perform two [blue]*basic actions*[/blue] and one [green]*special action*[/green] of our choice.8basic_action_wrap

Infi220We can learn more about the available *actions* by hovering over them. For example, [green]*this one*[/green] allows us to *slide* the entire row horizontally.9special_action_front_1

Infi220This [green]*special action*[/green] can be performed twice, and it lets us *swap* two vertically adjacent tiles each time. Infi220By the way, the majestic [red]*Sfynx tiles*[/red] are *"wild"* and can be used in place of any symbol in the riddle (only one *Sfynx tile* can be used per riddle).1tile_back_24

Infi220But wait, does it mean we have already solved the [blue]*middle riddle*[/blue] with the help of the [red]*Sfynx tile*[/red]?2undoredo_wrap

Infi220Well, almost... Did you notice that some tiles are [red]*dark*[/red] and others are *light*? The dark ones are *cursed!* A riddle can be solved only if all of the required tiles are flipped to the light side, i.e. *restored.*3undoredo_wrap

Infi220Fortunately, our [blue]*basic action*[/blue] has a dual purpose: it allow us to *swap* two orthogonally adjacent tiles OR *restore* a single tile. Let's use it to *restore!* [red][tip] Select the *two marked elements*, then click *[Use action]* at the top.[/red]4basic_action_front_2

Infi220Brilliant! As a reward we can now pick one of these three [red]*reward cards*[/red]. They give an extra action that we can use later.1undoredo_wrap

Infi220The first [red]*reward card*[/red] seems particularly useful, since we still have plenty of *cursed* tiles to *restore*. Let's take it! [red][tip] Select *the marked element*, then click *[Confirm]* at the top.[/red]2reward_revealed_item_6

Infi220We have already used *two basic actions* and a *special action*, so there is not much else we can do this turn. Looking ahead, [blue]*this riddle*[/blue] should be pretty easy to do next, right? [red][tip] Click *[End turn]* at the top to proceed to the *Sfynx Phase*.[/red]1undoredo_wrap

Infi220Woah woah, did you see this? Two *riddle cards* have disappeared from our lineup! We had great plans for them, so what happened?1riddle_revealed

Infi220This is because at the end of each turn, a [red]*challenge token*[/red] is revealed, which is a random negative effect that affects the lineup of our *riddle cards* OR the *tile grid*. This one is a [red]*double Whirpool*[/red] and its effect is based on the [blue]*Whirpool tile*[/blue] near the top, which currently says that the leftmost *riddle card* is put at the bottom of the [green]*riddle deck*[/green].2challenge_token_front_0

Infi220The good news is that our [blue]*basic actions*[/blue] are refreshed each round. However, [green]*special actions*[/green] are refreshed only when the [red]*3rd, 6th and 9th challenge token*[/red] is revealed.4action_wrap

Infi220Great! A *Sfynx tile* helped us solve another riddle! But we still need to *restore* the [red]*two cursed*[/red] tiles. We could do it with our [green]*reward card*[/green] but *rewards* can be used only once per game, so maybe let's save it for later.1tile_back_6

Infi220There is a hand limit of only [blue]*three reward cards.*[/blue] When you exceed the limit, you must use or discard a reward card immediately.4reward_gained_item_3

Infi220The effect of some [red]*challenge tokens*[/red] may force you to flip tiles back to their *cursed* side. If that happens, the large numbers on the [blue]*Clepsydra track*[/blue] will tell you how many tiles need to be flipped, which depends on the stage of the game. 5maintitlebar_content

Infi220You win the game if you solve [blue]*all 9 riddles*[/blue] before the end of the *12th turn*. But watch out! You lose if at any time *all tiles* in the grid are *cursed*, which may happen as a result of those pesky [red]*challenge tokens!*[/red]6riddle_revealed
